Walton Hall and Gardens has been nominated in a competition to find the UK’s best park.

Vote for Walton Hall and Gardens

 The Warrington Borough Council-owned park is in the running for the UKs Best Park vote run by Fields In Trust.

 Cllr Tony Higgins, executive board member for leisure and community, said: “It’s great that Walton Hall and Gardens has been nominated for this award and I hope that everyone in the borough gets behind the jewel in the crown of Warrington’s parks.”

Walton Hall and Gardens was nominated by Sally Slater from Northwich who used to live near the park.

Sally said: “There is something for all the family here and all set in the most beautiful and relaxing park. It’s truly amazing.”
