Why not come along to the Turnpike Community Theatre Auditions?

Turnpike Community Theatre have just announced their playbill for their 2016 season which will start with a performance of Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach which will open in late June.  The year will end with a production of Cinderella.

The company’s artistic director said, “Turnpike are very excited about this new production of James and the Giant Peach which we hope will appeal to our audiences.  It is a story known by so many people of all different ages.  This stage adaptation by David Wood is an amazing script and we are pleased to be able to perform this play under licence.”

He added, “Every successful production requires a group of talented actors and a dedicated support team both front of house and behind the scenes.  Turnpike would welcome members old and new to come along to the open auditions.”

The open auditions will take place at the Turnpike Gallery (Civic Square, Leigh) on Thursday 11th February 2016 from 7:40pm onwards.  Rehearsals are on a Thursday evening.  Performances will take place from Wednesday 29th June to Saturday 2nd July and tickets will be available from 1st March.
