Education leaders from across the North West joined the council and colleagues at a Warrington Early Years Conference on Thursday 15 February.
The event, at the Park Royal Stretton, brought together a diverse mix of over 140 professionals including Early Years Teachers, Head Teachers, Nursery Owners, Managers and Local Authority colleagues to listen to inspirational speakers, attend workshops and network with other delegates.

The experienced speakers were able to bring their wide ranging expertise to the conference with many delegates commenting on how inspirational they found the key note addresses. Workshops also took place in the afternoon led by Jane Evans, Jan Dubiel, Head of National and International Development Early Excellence, Wendy Rydzkowski, Principal Educational Psychologist Warrington Borough Council and Elaine White, Senior HMI, Ofsted.
Cllr Jean Carter, executive board member for children’s services said “Its great news that Warrington was able to host this event, bringing together professionals from across the region to share knowledge, expertise and ideas about building brighter futures for young people. It is always heartening to hear about the huge amount of work that goes on to guide the future generation in the early years settings.
The event was a great success and I’d like to thank everybody involved in the organising and running of it, including Warrington Early Years Staff, all of the conference speakers, exhibitors and Park Royal Hotel.”
