Memory Walk in aid of Alzheimer’s Society

Don’t forget there’s still time to register to attend this year’s Memory Walk in Warrington on Sunday 25th March. Starting at 2pm.

Memory Walk is a series of nationwide walks for all ages and abilities to raise awareness of dementia and collect money for the Alzheimer’s Society to help defeat dementia.

The walk will be a short 30 minute walk, that is wheelchair and pram friendly and can be adapted to how long or short you want to make it. We will start on the running track and once the walk has finished we will meet for tea and cake afterwards in the athletics stadium. It’s on Victoria Park on Sunday 25th March 2pm. There will also be an opportunity for local community groups to set up stalls.

Registration is £5 for an individual or £50 for a community group (which will cover up to 12 people).   The registration fees (bar a deduction of no more than £2 per person to cover event management) will be donated to the Alzheimer’s society. Should you also wish to collect your own donation to the Alzheimer’s society we can supply you with sponsorship forms.

If you would like a stall there will be an extra £10 charge. Please note there are limited spaces for stalls, which will be on a first paid basis. Public liability insurance is required for all groups wanting a stall.

Please register by 28th February 2018 and return the slip in the document attached with payment to The East Neighbourhoods Team at Orford Community Hub, Festival Avenue, Warrington, WA2 9EP or email them on
