St Mary’s Church, Lymm is hosting its annual Community Christmas Tree Festival from 1st to 3rd of December.
Since the first Festival held in 2015 the popularity of the event has grown and this year there will be over 36 trees, provided by local groups and organisations, decorated to the theme ‘Let me tell you a story..’.
Admission is free and the church will be open from 10am – 5pm on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday there will be a Christingle Service in aid of The Children’s Society at 10am after which the church will remain open until 4.30pm.
During the three days local organisations , including Primary Schools, Lymm Golf Club Ladies Ukulele Band and Lymm and District Chorus will presenting musical interludes. For children there will be a Praise and Play Service on Friday morning and a Godly Play session on Saturday afternoon followed by a picnic tea. Children will also be able to try their hands at making a Christmas card or decoration.
A range of craft items and home made produce will be on sale and refreshments will be available.
