Do you know that Scouting isn’t just for boys and girls it is for adults too? Yes, that is right, it is for us adults too. As Leaders we give the young people a fantastic opportunity to have fun and adventures whilst gaining lifelong skills, making friends, developing self-confidence and in time become excellent role models for the next generation. Just think we can achieve all this for an hour or two a week or less. For us there is adventure, friendship, developing new skills which can help with that interview or in the work place and an incredible feeling of satisfaction. Just look at the beam on a face when presented with that first badge or start to help with an activity or a simple thank you for a meeting or a visit. Like to know more? Please contact Christine for an informal chat and lots of exciting information. The Beavers and Cubs would love to welcome you as one of their Leaders.
