Enjoy an evening of live entertainment at a charity concert on Friday March 24th at Grappenhall Ex Servicemen’s Club, from 8pm to raise money for Walton Lea Partnership.
Local Warrington charity Walton Lea Partnership is the nominated charity for the Essential Guide magazine during 2017. In addition to this charity gig, The Essential Guide will support Walton Lea Partnership in various other ways during 2017.
The charity provides supported employment for adults with learning difficulties, offering gardening, woodwork, floristry, conservation work, working in the shop and dealing with customers; thus improving self esteem and enabling them to play a full part in the local community.
Classic rock covers band Black Thursday will be performing songs from their extensive repertoire including music from the 50’s to the present day, giving their time for free on the night.
Lee Nunnerley, Head of Commercial and Resource Management Walton Lea Partnership, said: “Gather your friends, family and colleagues and come to this great event. By attending, you will be supporting the work of the Walton Lea Partnership, a charity providing learning, skills development and supported employment to adults with learning disabilities and difficulties. Donations are an essential component of the Walton Lea Partnership’s success enabling individuals with learning disabilities and difficulties to reach their full potential. Every £5 raised from the sale of one ticket will help assist the Walton Lea Partnership to continue their invaluable and much enjoyed good works.”
